Three notables drop from the rolls, having used up their 15 years: Gil McDougald, Don Newcombe and Mickey Vernon. Altho I didn’t vote for any of them very often, they were usually in my Top 15. Not that any of them are really HOF worthy, I’m still kind of sad to see them go.
